Studying the art pages for opportunities to show my work, there are many call outs for artists to respond to the pandemic we all find ourselves in. So I have made a small series of works in which I can deliver a visual interpretation of what the situation means to me. It isn’t about a representational depiction of the virus, it’s a feeling, one of speed, like a dancer spinning aggressively from country to country, continent to continent. Doing his dark deeds , hence the archetypal dichotomy between black and white, good versus evil.
