“Attachments aren’t always visible.”
The unseen attachments between memories of loved ones and friends are deeply personal and here I’m trying to visualise this, although this will be different for everyone...that’s fine.
Constructing this artwork and putting colours together was not a single or simple task, the combination of colours and their positions with each other to fulfil my thoughts on relational attachments took a long time to come together until I was able to complete this collage.
I was considering how we attach to other whilst I was sitting in a cafe, when one person entered and began to talk to many people at different tables throughout the room, but you could never have guessed this lone figure would have known anyone, until he showed his unseen connections.
